A 81 meter cargo ship grounded on the beach in the mouth of the River Teign a few days ago.
The coastal ship Munzur was on her way into Teignmouth Harbour at 5.45pm when she grounded and had to be pulled off by the harbour commission tug boat Teign C. As she turned she grounded again on the beach.
Finally she was assisted back into the channel by the Teign Harbour Commisssion tug Teign C.
