Russian general cargo ship has been detained since 15 August by Kazakhstan authorities for border pass rules violation, but without any evidence. The ship was loaded with equipment for oil refinery destined for Rostov-on-Don, Kazakhstan.
On Aug 16 Dmitriy Egorov was docked, cargo was offloaded, but vessel kept docked since then in Atyrtau without any reasons given to the owner, without any claims, allegations or charges. The shipowner doesn’t know what to do or what are the violations he committed and how to release the vessel. A complaint has been filed to the Russian Ministries of Transportation and Foreign Affairs, but to no avail. As of Oct 12 vessel is in the same position docked in Atyrau,
