The United Kingdom Hydrographic Office has issued a warning over the dangers posed to the safety of vessels, crews and cargoes by counterfeit nautical charts and publications and has produced a simple guide to help identify genuine Admiralty products.
The United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) has published chart Q6099 Anti-Piracy Planning Chart – Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea for a number of years. This chart has now been incorporated into a new series of Maritime Security Planning Charts (Q Series).
